Question 1

What do rear 2017 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 48 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A4 with rear damage, the median was $5,300, from $3,400 to $7,100. That is 7% above the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1745 comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,400 to $7,700. At $5,500 this one went 11% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A4 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI A4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 64,163 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 92,150 miles across 1745 sales, so at 64,163 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
