Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A4 with front end damage, the median was $5,675, from $4,350 to $8,275. That is 15% above the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1751 comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,400 to $7,700. At $4,900 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This AUDI A4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $21,219. It sold for $4,900 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

What does a salvage (mississippi) mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A4 was sold on a salvage (mississippi). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 63,053 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 92,239 miles across 1751 sales, so at 63,053 miles this one sits 32% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
