Question 1

Was $3,225 a good price for this 2016 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

212 comparable 2016 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $3,700, spanning $3,100 to $5,500. At $3,225 this one went 13% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A4 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 126,414 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 87,536 miles across 212 sales, so at 126,414 miles this one sits 44% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 AUDI A4 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 AUDI A4 was listed at IAAI as lot 42346146 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
