Question 1

This AUDI A3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this AUDI A3?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 AUDI A3 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - SAVANNAH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 999,999 miles high for a 2023 AUDI A3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 AUDI A3 listings at auction averaged 36,880 miles across 230 sales, so at 999,999 miles this one sits 2611% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2023 AUDI A3?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was SANTANDER. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2023 AUDI A3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2023 AUDI A3 was listed at COPART as lot 42019815 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
