Question 1

This AUDI A3 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this AUDI A3?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A3 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A3 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NV - NORTH LAS VEGAS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A3. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 88,915 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A3?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A3 listings at auction averaged 81,808 miles across 342 sales, so at 88,915 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 AUDI A3 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 AUDI A3 was listed at COPART as lot 65253315 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
