Question 1

Was $10,900 a good price for this 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO?

Accepted Answer

324 comparable 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO listings sold at auction for a median of $5,800, spanning $3,650 to $10,200. At $10,900 this one went 88% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This ALFA ROMEO STELVIO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this ALFA ROMEO STELVIO?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this ALFA ROMEO STELVIO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - TUCSON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 69,102 miles high for a 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO listings at auction averaged 68,004 miles across 324 sales, so at 69,102 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 ALFA ROMEO STELVIO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
