Question 1

Was $6,100 a good price for this 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

372 comparable 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA listings sold at auction for a median of $5,900, spanning $3,650 to $9,900. At $6,100 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This ALFA ROMEO GIULIA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this ALFA ROMEO GIULIA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA's pre-damage retail value at $15,186. It sold for $6,100 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 90,031 miles high for a 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA listings at auction averaged 71,077 miles across 372 sales, so at 90,031 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this ALFA ROMEO GIULIA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
