Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA with mechanical damage, the median was $4,100, from $3,200 to $8,600. That is 21% below the $5,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,600 a good price for this 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

345 comparable 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA listings sold at auction for a median of $5,200, spanning $3,250 to $9,400. At $8,600 this one went 65% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this ALFA ROMEO GIULIA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - FORT PIERCE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 70,735 miles high for a 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA listings at auction averaged 80,417 miles across 345 sales, so at 70,735 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
